Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.

Description
One of my gaming buddies, Ron, is resurrecting his 1/25 scale Car Wars arena game and he asked me to make some parts for two of his cars; a Jeep that required a large ram plate and the other a Chevy Impala with a huge tank gun.
I modeled the parts in SketchUp and exported them to .stl format and printed them out on my M3D 3d-printer. The finished parts and the printer itself can be seen in the first photo, and the finished cars painted and assembled by my friend in the other panels. The Jeep also sports a grenade launcher turret out the back end, but my friend didn't photograph that side.
Anyway it was my first attempt as printing anything in 3d with that printer - it was a pain in the ass, had numerous problems and some fucked up parts I had to reprint but in the end they turned out better than I thought they would.
Car Wars is a roadwarrior-like miniatures game, it can be played originally with little cardboard chits but we always played with Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars, Ron upped the scale to 1/25th scale models and used to take his game on the road to various conventions. He plans to run his Car Wars arena at the 2016 Origins and 2016 GenCon Indy, unless they screw him over again and don't offer him the floor space he needs.
